Displaying Transfer Requirements

After you have created transfer requirements, you can display them, either individually or grouped together according to various selection criteria. You can use the display tasks not only to display the data but also to select transfer requirements for which you want to create transfer orders.

You can display transfer requirements according to different selection criteria:

Individual transfer requirement number

Storage type

Material number

Material document

Requirement tracking type and number

The steps for displaying transfer requirements are the same, regardless of how you want to group the transfer requirements.

Choose Logistics ® Logistics Execution ® Internal Whse Processes ® TransRqmnt ® Display and one of the display types from the SAP menu.

Enter additional selection criteria and choose ENTER .

The system displays a list of transfer requirements that meet the selection criteria.

Display Functions

From all the display list screens, you have several display functions.

To display an individual transfer requirement, move the cursor to the line containing the transfer requirement and choose Display trans.rqmt. You can also display an individual transfer requirement by choosing Display TransRqmt ® Single.

To change the transfer requirement sorting options, choose Edit ® Sort in ascending order or Sort in descending order from the display menu bar.
Using a display variant of the standard list viewer, you can display the fields on this screen in the desired sequence. This does not apply to the display of transfer requirements for a material document.

Processing Functions

One of the purposes for displaying transfer requirements is to select them for further processing, for example, to create transfer orders.

You many want to display all transfer requirements for materials in a specific storage type, such as the interim storage area for goods receipt, so that you can create transfer orders to transfer the goods into the warehouse.

On the display list screen, the following processing functions are available:

Select transfer requirements individually for further processing

Select or deselect all transfer requirements in the report

Select or deselect transfer requirements individually

Create transfer orders online

For each transfer requirement that you select, the system goes to the overview screen for creating transfer orders for transfer requirements. To continue processing, choose Transfer order ® Post. If you selected more than one transfer requirement, the system displays the next transfer requirement for processing. Otherwise, the system returns to the list display screen. In both cases, the system displays a message that a transfer order was created. The system also displays the transfer order number. The system marks all transfer requirements that were successfully processed with an asterisk ( *) on the list display screen.

Create transfer orders in the background

If no errors occurred during processing, the system displays a message with the number of transfer orders that were created. The transfer requirements that were successfully processed are indicated with an asterisk ( *).

If errors occurred during processing, the system displays a list of error messages. When you return to the display list, the transfer requirements for which errors occurred are indicated with a question mark ( ?).
