Use
The Specification System is a support tool for the engineering process.
You can :
- Processtemplates
- Processdata sheets
The following master data can be used:
- Material
- Dokument
- Functional location
- Class
You use functions from Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel) intgeration for creating templates and data sheets.
- Export of data into a Microsoft Office application is possible in order to process tempaltes and data sheets.
- Import of data into the SAP System updates the data.
You define the control data for Microsoft Office integration.
You can also define profiles for converting units of measure. These can be used on a project basis for conmverting values from the SAP System into another system or application. The converted values of the units of measuer then appear on the data sheets.
