Creating a Report with a New Hierarchy 

  1. Call up the transaction as follows:

  3. Enter the following data:

  5. Choose Create.
  6. In the dialog box, select Operating concern currency.
  7. Choose .
  8. You are now in the Characteristics tab page.

  9. In the Characteristic list, select Country+Region and Sales organization.
  10. Choose .
  11. To display the sequence in which the characteristics are to appear in the report, choose Sort user-def. char.
  12. Ensure that the characteristics in the Sort characteristics dialog box are listed in the following order: (1) Sales org. and (2) Country+Region. Correct the sequence, if required.

  13. Choose .
  14. Enter the following data:

  16. Choose the Key figures tab page.
  17. In the Available key figures area, select the Revenues key figure.
  18. Choose .
  19. Choose the Variables tab page.
  20. Enter the following data:

  22. Choose the Output type tab page.
  23. Under record type, select Classic drilldown.
  24. Choose the Options tab page.
  25. In the Performance section, enter the following data:

  27. Choose .
  28. In the Choose hierarchy: screen, use the possible entries function to select the hierarchy you defined under Hierarchy, then choose .
  29. On the Create Profitability Report: Initial Screen, choose .
  30. The system proposes the variables entered during report definition.

  31. Without changing the variables, choose .
  32. The report shows you the planned sales in Germany for sales organization 1000.

  33. Choose the plus sign in front of Nonassigned (x).
  34. The characteristic values that were not defined in the hierarchy are also displayed. Depending on the sales orders, sales revenue coming from US customers who ordered in Germany, for example, are then displayed in this way.

  35. You can navigate in this report as described in the step Displaying a Report with the Characteristics Hierarchy.
  36. Choose .
  37. In the dialog box, choose Yes.
  38. Choose until the overview tree appears.
