Amendment of Arrears Loop

Scope of Functions

The arrears loop LPBEG has been amended to LPEND (in Schema W000) for the following reasons:

1. In order to facilitate arrear recovery plans

2. For efficiency reasons, unnecessary processing has been removed from the loop.

Also, processing class 41 has been created for deduction processing. You must only assign this processing class to deduction wage types.

Effects on Existing Data

For all deduction wage types, you must perform the following steps:

Set the indicator for processing class 20 to 1.

Set the indicator for processing class 41 to 3.

In the event that you have created arrear recovery wage types, set the indicator for processing class 20 to 7.

Link types with the indicator 12 and 13 from the Indicator for Wage Type Assignment table (T51P3) have been renamed in the system to S0 and S1 respectively. If you have created your own links using the template for links 12 and 13, you must now recreate the links using S0 and S1 (as 12 and 13 now represent links used for recovery of arrears). Also, the deductions processing from sub-schema WAL0 has been moved to a new sub-schema WDD0. WAL0 and WAP0 are now processed before the loop for deduction and arrears.
