Setting the Column Width 

You can change the width of the characteristic and key figure columns.

Characteristics Column

To change the width of the characteristic column, proceed as follows:

  1. From the initial or drilldown list, select Settings ® Column width ® Characteristic.
  2. Enter the number of characters you require for the column width in the Column width field and press ENTER .

Key Figures Column

To change the width of the key figure columns, proceed as follows:

  1. From the initial or drilldown list, select Settings ® Column width ® Key figures.
  2. Enter the number of characters you require for the column width in the Column width field and press ENTER .

An output length is stored in the ABAP/4 Dictionary for every key figure. If you select a column width which is larger than the length of a key figure, the system will ignore your entry and will show this key figure in the output length.
