Proportional Consolidation

The FI-LC system handles proportional consolidation in basically the same way as the purchase method. The full amounts are entered for the individual financial statements and are only later apportioned during currency translation. If an indirect investment exists in a company to be consolidated proportionally, and if the calculated group share is smaller than the proportion for this company, you need to account for minority interest and set up appropriate FS items. Otherwise, no minority interest is displayed.

Changes in the proportion of a joint venture company during the fiscal year are currently not fully supported.
