Add-Ins for ALE in HR 
Use
ALE distribution in HR is supported by the following Business Add-Ins for customer-specific enhancements:
- Inbound processing for HR master data.
Business Add-In in
inbound processing for HR master data (FM IDOC_INPUT_HRMD).
Two methods are
available:
- process_idoc enables you to read or change the IDoc in full or in part.
- set_export_parameters can be used to set the output parameters of FM IDOC_INPUT_HRMD.
- Check/additional processing of object in inbound processing.
This Business Add-In
can be used to run checks for an HR object in inbound function module
RH_IDOC_OBJECTS_SAVE.
If the SKIP_OBJECT
exception is triggered, the object is locked for further processing. In this
instance, an error message must be returned to the PROTOKOL_MESSAGE
variable.
In this way, further
processing can be locked for individual objects, and an error
message/warning/information message can be added to the error
log.
It is also possible
to update further data for objects to be read.
- Customer-defined inbound processing.
Two methods are
available:
- Using select_objects, objects can be selected according to the plan version, object type, and object ID parameters. Inbound processing for these objects differs from inbound processing in the standard system.
- Using process_selected_objects, the objects selected by this method can be read.
- Fine tuning of original system mechanism
The following
methods are available:
- otype_has_original can be used to determine the object types for which the original system mechanism is active.
- write_chgptr_for_replica can be used to determine that change pointers are also written for individual infotypes of replications.
- save_data_for_original allows originals to be overwritten in ALE inbound processing.
