Maintain Number Ranges for Results Analysis Documents

The following business transactions are carried out during results analysis and WIP calculation:

KABF	Manual entries for results analysis
KABG	Automatic results analysis
KABM	Manual results analysis

CO documents are created when these business transactions are carried out. Numbers are assigned to these documents.

You must maintain number ranges in order to restrict the values for the numbers assigned or to categorize them according to certain criteria.

Requirements

You must have authorization to maintain number ranges.

You must know how to maintain number ranges.

You must first carry out

Maintain controlling area.

Actions

1. Create number range groups acccording to your requirements.

2. Enter the internal and external number range intervals for documents in the number ranges groups. When you do this, take into account the existing number ranges.

3. Assign the above business transactions to your number range groups.

Further Notes

You transport number range objects as follows:

In the initial screen, choose Interval -> Transport.

Note that all intervals for the selected number range object are deleted in the target system first. After the import, only the intervals you export are present. The number statuses are imported with their values at the time of export.

Dependent tables are not transported or converted.
