Sheets 
Use
The PI Sheet menu in process management has been revised. The following transactions that were available in previous releases are no longer available through the menu but can still be accessed by entering the transaction code. They can, however, only be used for ABAP list-based PI sheets:
- Display PI Sheet (CO56)
- Maintain PI Sheet (CO58)
- Delete PI Sheet (CO59)
As of this release, there are a number of different transactions in the PI Sheet menu that you can use to select PI sheets.
- For a general PI sheet selection, you can use the Find PI Sheet transaction.
- For a specific PI sheet selection, you can use the following transactions:
- Worklist - Maintain
- Worklist - Complete
- Worklist - Check
In this way, the functions provided are tailored according to your role in the company. The shift manager, for example, is mainly interested in checking and completing PI sheets, whereas the process operator is responsible for maintaining them. Each of the three worklists provides a special selection of PI sheets for the processing type you have chosen. When you choose Worklist - Complete , for example, the system only displays PI sheets that have status To be completed.
The worklist is displayed in table form. In the worklist, you can, for example:
- Sort the PI sheets according to different criteria
- Display or maintain individual PI sheets
- Delete PI sheets
In addition, you obtain the following information depending on the type of worklist:
- Whether process messages have been sent for a PI sheet
- Whether a PI sheet contains deviations
- Whether a PI sheet contains comments
Selection and Display Variants
- In a selection variant, you specify the criteria according to which you want the system to select PI sheets (for example, status, order number, and so on).
- In a display variant, you specify how the worklist table is to be displayed. It contains information about the columns of the list and the sort criteria, for example.
Standard Selection Variants and Display Variants
SAP has defined a selection variant along with a display variant for each of the above-mentioned transactions.
Except for transaction Find PI Sheet, which is not user-specific, each selection variant has been assigned to a user parameter.
If you have entered these user parameters and selection variants in your user master record, the system takes you directly to the worklist with the predefined selections and layout when you call up the corresponding transaction. If you have not done so, a selection screen with the selection criteria predefined for the corresponding processing type first appears. You can change these criteria. The worklist appears only after you have chosen Execute .
You can use the following user parameters and variants:

Individual Selection and Display Variants
In addition to the standard selection variants, you can also create your own selection variants to which you can assign your own or standard display variants.
- You can create selection variants as follows:
- In Customizing for Process Management
- On the selection screen of the relevant transaction
- You can define display variants in the list overview of the worklist.
You can change your own selection and display variants any time during the dialog. The changes take effect immediately.
If you want to use your own selection variants, you must enter the user parameter that is valid for the corresponding transaction in the user master record. You assign your own selection variant to this user parameter as its parameter value. After you have called the corresponding transaction, the system takes you to the worklist with exactly those criteria that you have defined in the selection variant.
