Converting IDoc Documentation to HTML 

Use

This procedure is used for sending documentation explaining IDoc field information electronically to your third-party payroll service providers.

Prerequisites

Use the information contained in this HTML file format to determine the information contained in the other data segments of the IDoc. You can send these documents to your third-party payroll service provider as a reference to the information contained in the IDoc.

Make sure that you are starting from the initial screen.

Procedure

  1. Select Tools ® Business Communication ® IDoc-Basis ® Documentation ® IDoc Types.

    2. The Documentation for IDoc Types screen appears.

  2. In the ObjectName field, type the name of the IDoc.
  3. Select Documentation ® HTML Page.

    4. The Parameter for HTML File Names dialog box appears.

  4. In the Local Directory field, type the name of the directory to which you want to save the HTML documents, then select Continue.

    5. All of the documentation for the specific type of IDoc that you specified is converted into HTML format.

  5. Return to the main menu.

Result

You have successfully generated the online IDoc documentation file.
