You need the OS/2 version of the SAP communications server in order to connect to EXPEDITE.

The workstation can establish a connection to the Information Network either directly or via the mainframe. It is possible to use an existing leased line from the mainframe to the Information Network. The mainframe product expEDIte/MVS is not required for this.

The technical network and organizational aspects of connecting EXPEDITE to the Information Exchange are not covered in this document. Please consult your IBM contact person for this information.
