In this section, you convert the error processes of process technology from Release 2.1 to the workflow standard tasks. The old processes are no longer supported.
You can classify the corresponding standard tasks as "general tasks". Through this you make every SAP user a possible agent of this task and this ensures that if errors occur the permitted agent determined in the IDoc interface is informed.
In Release 2.1, 2 processes were defined in the IDoc interface for inbound and outbound errors:
The followingprocess codes with corresponding standard tasks now correspond to these error processes:
| Process code | Standard task | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| EDIO | TS00007989 | Error in outbound processing |
| EDII | TS00008068 | Error in inbound processing |
The following process codes with corresponding standard tasks are new:
| Process code | Standard task | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| EDIX | TS00008070 | IDoc syntax error (outbound) |
| EDIY | TS00008074 | IDoc syntax error (inbound) |
| EDIM | TS30000020 | IDoc could not be created. |
| IDoc administrator | ||
| is notified | ||
| EDIL | TS70008373 | Error when reading a |
| status file; IDoc administrator | ||
| is notified | ||
| EDIN | TS70008037 | Error in outbound: IDoc cannot |
| be generated, | ||
| but application document exists | ||
| and is displayed (outbound | ||
| under message control) | ||
| EDIP | TS60001307 | Error in outbound processing of an |
| IDoc stack (output mode | ||
| 'collect IDocs'), as this | ||
| stack has also occurred | ||
| for each IDoc |
Exception handling for
status confirmation is identified via the two following process codes:
| Process code | Standard task | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| EDIS | TS30000078 | Display of returned |
| status | ||
| EDIR | TS70008125 | Like EDIS; additionally the IDoc |
| can be resent | ||
| if an error status | ||
| was returned |
Execute the activity. The system implements the aforementioned standard tasks and process codes for exception handling.
Set the indicator Tasks -> general tasks only when you have assigned possible agents for the aforementioned tasks.
You can perform a testrun. The system does not change anything. A log is created upon execution which shows what the system would change.
The indicator reset express flag is valid for all process codes affected. Also see the additional advice below.
The process codes are entered in tables TEDE5 and TEDE6. The changes are not transported.
You have the possibility of setting an express indicator for each of the express indicators. The permitted agents are then informed of the new work item by means of an express message on their screen. Bildschirm über das neue Workitem informiert. You set the indicator in the initial screen of the IDoc interface (transaction WEDI) via Control -> Process code system/status.
