Stock Information 
Use
Since Release 4.5A, you can no longer change the stock information (for example, stock type, plant, warehouse) in the serial number master records. This avoids stock inconsistencies in Inventory Management.
As of Release 4.6C, you can change stock information manually if certain prerequisites are met:
- If no plant has been maintained up to now (for example, when creating a new serial number)
- If a plant has been defined up to now and no stock check has been defined in the serial number profile of the material, or the stock check causes a warning to be issued
Note that you can only change the stock information Plant if no stock check has been defined in the serial number profile of the new plant, or the stock check causes a warning to be issued.
