Process Flow

  1. Define the commitment item groups.
  2. Define the budget structure using group assignments.
  3. Execute step Change budget structure and have set the Group assignments indicator on the initial screen.

  4. Generate the budget structure from groups.
  5. You need only carry out the following steps if budget values already exist.

  6. Reconstructing distributed values
  7. Reconstructing assigned values

Result

The budget structure only contains the elements, which are needed in your organization for central or local budgeting from all possible combinations of funds centers and commitment items. Only combinations of funds centers and commitment items that can be budgeted appear in the budget hierarchy.
