Editing Commitment Items

Use

With this function, you can create, display, change, or delete commitment items. There are two ways of maintaining commitment items:

You maintain one object (account assignment item or summarization item).

You use the SAP network graphic to maintain a number of objects.

The functions in individual maintenance and hierarchy maintenance are different.

If you have already activated Funds Management and entered budgets and postings for the commitment items, do not make any of the following changes:

Changes to the control parameters Financial transaction and Item category

Changes to hierarchy relations. For more information, read Changing the Structure of the Master Data Hierarchy.
