Process Manufacturing Cockpits 
Use
This release note provides a general description of how you proceed to create a cockpit:
1. You go to
Customizing for Production Planning for Process
Industries and choose Process Management ->
Define Process Manufacturing
Cockpit.
1. You create a new cockpit.

2. You assign process instructions to the
cockpit.

3. You assign characteristics to the
process instructions.

4. You check the cockpit after you have
made all settings.
To do so, you go back to the initial screen for cockpit definition. You select the cockpit and choose Check .
If the system does not find any errors, you continue with step 6. If it finds errors, you correct them first.

5. You simulate the cockpit if it contains
no errors
To do so, you select the cockpit and choose Simulate .

6. You activate the cockpit.
To do so, you select the cockpit and choose Activate.

7. To start the cockpit, you go to the
process management menu and choose Process Manufacturing Cockpit
-> Start.
8. You enter the cockpit name and the
corresponding plant and choose Start.
