Process Flow
Transfer of Stock and Movement Data to Vendor
You use this process to transfer information on sales data, stock levels and open purchase order quantities (quantities on-order) by electronic data interchange (EDI) to your vendors. This enables the vendor, for example, to plan replenishments of his products in your sites (vendor-managed inventory, VMI).
Subsequent Settlement
Physical inventory
Agency Business
In Agency Business, you act as an agent for business conducted between third parties. In doing so you offer the parties involved (vendors and customers) various advantages or services, such as del credere guarantees or more convenient ways of paying. Your own agency receives a commission from either the customer or the vendor for services rendered.
