This authorization object protects the cost
elements in master data maintenance.
Defined
Fields
The authorization object contains the following
fields:
- Classification of cost elements
- 1 = Primary cost elements
- 2 = Secondary cost elements
The maintenance
activities protected by this object are:
- 06 = Delete (not used at present)
- 08 = Display change documents
Examples
The following authorizations are stored in your
user master in one profile:

Authorization 1:
In controlling area
0100, you are authorized to display all cost elements.
Authorization 2:
In controlling area
0400, you are authorized to display and change primary cost elements. You can
also view all primary cost element change documents.
Authorization 3:
In controlling area
TEST, you can maintain the cost elements as you like. You have authorization
for all the activities of master data maintenance without being restricted to
certain cost elements.
