Up to now, the total weights and volumes of a delivery were calculated in the smallest weight/volume unit which occurred in the delivery on item level. This was used to give maximum accuracy. It was only converted into the larger unit if the fields were not long enough to enter the entire specification.
To achieve a standardization with order processing and billing, and in recognition of the fact that such accuracy is not necessary, this function has been changed in Release 3.0. The total specifications are now calculated in the largest weight and volume unit in each case.
