Shipping: Export Data Interface

Description

Export and import data for a transaction in SD has been expanded so that the required export papers and declarations to the authorities can be created with this information.

Data relevant for export in a transaction has been collected in a view in the form of an IDoc. This includes

• export-specific information

• billing data

• packing data from the relevant deliveries

This view can be used for the following purposes:

• To create customer-specific export papers within the SAP system

• To procure by downloading data for a non-SAP system (for example, a dedicated subsystem for creating export papers)

• Interface to EDI (for example, for communicating with an exporter).
