Error Analysis Measures under OS/400

Use

If you come across errors when sending or receiving messages, you can search for the causes of these errors at OS/400 level.

Activities

Enter the following command in order to display the error messages in the QSYSOPR message queue:

DSPMSG QSYSOPR

In the QSYSOPR message queue you find error messages which refer directly to AnyMail/400.

Enter the following command in order to check whether errors occurred during the transfer of a mail from AS/400 to R/3:

WRKSPLF QMSF

Spool files are not only generated if errors occur, but also every time a message is received in the R/3 System. SAP therefore recommends that you regularly delete the spool files from user QMSF .

The QMSF jobs run in subsystem QSYSWRK . Further information relating to AnyMail/400 can be found in the log files assigned to these jobs.

The spool files for mlunxsnd are moved to the spool system of the user who started the program.
