Copy Carryforward Rules

Use

Carryforward rules are created year-dependently. So that you do not have to create new carryforward parameters and corresponding carryforward rules for the commitments carried forward and budget transfer for every year, this program (RFFMCFC1) enables you to copy carryforward rules from the carryforward rules of a fiscal year. You have the following options for this:

	Carryforward parameter Y	Fiscal year Y

Prerequisites

The target carryforward parameter and/or the target fiscal year must have different templates

No carryforward rules may be defined for the target carryforward parameter in the target fiscal year.

This prerequisite does not apply if you set Delete old rules (target) when executing the program and thereby delete already existing rules in the target fiscal year.

The carryforward rules must correspond to the carryforward type of the target carryforward parameter.

Procedure

In order to copy carryforward rules choose Accounting ® Financial accounting ® Funds management ® Additional functions ® Closing operations ® Carryforward rules ® Copy.
