Maintain Access
Sequences
You define
access sequences in this menu option.
The access sequence is a search strategy which
the SAP System uses to search for condition records valid for a condition
type.
To define an access sequence, make the following settings:
four-digit
alphanumeric key which uniquely identifies the access sequence
- description
a text describing the access sequence
- detailed data (only the most important data is
listed here: for further information, see Online help)
the sequential
number of the access in the access sequence
Recommendation
- To create a new access sequence, copy a
similar one already existing in the system and change it to correspond to your
requirements.
- If you define your own access sequences, the
key should start with the letter Z since SAP reserves this letter for the
standard system.
Actions
1. Check to
what extent you can change and use the access sequences contained in the
standard SAP R/3 System.
2. Define
access sequences for your SD documents.
