Shop Floor Information System: Setting Up
Statistical Data
Description
As of Release 2.2E you can set up statistical data in the Shop Floor
Information System. With the RMCFNEUA report you can initialize the
information structures that were determined in Customizing for the Shop Floor
Information System.
The RMCFNEUA report processes only those orders that were not archived in
the system. The report reads the orders that were selected in the selection
screen and initiates statistics updating.
Description of the selection paramters
For security reasons, the data from setting up
statistical data can first be written in the information structures, which you
specify in the Report. After you have successfully set up the statistical data
you can analyze the data and copy it into the actual version (Report RMCVISCP,
see below). This prevents already existing data in the info structure from
being overwritten. It is also possible to write directly to the normal data
(version 000). During writing the system checks via the information structure
S021 whether a production order was already updated for this version. Updating
will only be carried out if this is not the case.
Note:
All versions, that begin with '&(' are reserved for setting up statistical
data. You can see the versions of an information structure via the 'flexible
analyses'. You can use the 'standard analyses' with the standard information
structures. For this purpose, specify the parameter 'MCR' in your user master
data and as a value assign it the version that you want to analyze. The
standard analyses then read the data of the version that you previously
determined.
Specify the plants in which the statistics set
up process is to be valid.
Specify the MRP controller group in which the
statistics set up process is to take effect.
Specify the order numbers in which the
statistics set up process is to take effect.
Specify the production scheduler in which the
statistics set up process is to take effect.
specifies the entry date for which the
statistics set up process is to take effect.
- Date and time of termination
With these parameters you can determine when the
statistics set up process should terminate.
- Termination when time out
This indicator causes the program to terminate
once the data and time of termination are reached, rather than to end
normally.
Description of the RMCVISCP report
The report RMCVISCP copies or deletes versions under which statistical data
is stored.
Description of selection parameters
specifies the information structures for which a
function is to be performed.
- Source version determines which version is to be copied.
specifies the version to which data is to be
copied. Data which is already stored in the target version is deleted.
indicates that a version is to be deleted rather
than copied.
specifies which version is to be deleted.
Installation information
You should run the program for setting up information structures in the
Shop Floor Information System in the background. It is recommended to leave
the info structure S021 as active. This prevents data from being written
twice. If termination occurs due to the termination date being reached, the
report can then be restarted later on with the same version.
Procedure
In order to execute the statistics set up process, proceed as follows:
1. From the main menu select
Tools --> ABAP/4 Workbench --> Development > ABAP/4
Editor .
2. Specify the program names and execute
the program. The selection screen appears.
