Report Status Network

The report status network is structured as follows:

See: Status Network for Reports

  1. Status before and during generation:
  2. The status Start of work (SW) is followed by the status Report body request (RR). During generation, the report has status Generation possible (GP). If the generation fails (status GE), or a System error (SE) occurs, the R/3 System terminates generation.

For reports in status GE or SE, you can restart generation.

  3. Status after generation:
  4. After a report body has been successfully generated, it has the status Generation Successful (GS). The R/3 System then resets the report to the initial status you defined in the generation variant header.

If some phrase symbols are not present in the required language after generation, the report has the status Generated with warning. You can still process the report further.

  5. Release statuses:
  6. During the release process, the report passes through different control regimes. For example, the report body must be released in turn by a chemist (status R1 or "CH"), a lawyer (status F2 or "LA"), and another person of your choice (status XY).

  7. Versioning statuses:
  8. After the report has been released for the last time, it has status Complete (CO) and can now be versioned.

  9. Statuses of released reports:

Reports with status Released (RE) are ready for report shipping. Released reports can be set to status Historic (HI).
