Conversion of
Mass Processing to the ABAP List Viewer (ALV) Interface 
Use
The object list in mass processing has been converted to the ALV interface.
To define the structure of the object list, you can select a layout (ALV) on the initial screen or you can select a profile, which is defined in Customizing for the Order Information System. You can assign a status filter to a profile when you define the profile in Customizing. You cannot do this for a layout. However, if you use a layout to structure the individual object list, you can call a status filter from the menu.
The individual object list using the ALV interface has the following advantages:
- It has a modern user interface
- You can sort selected objects as required and filter them according to particular field values
- You can create totals and subtotals
- You can print out and export the individual object list
- You can define generally-valid layouts and user-specific layouts
- You can use the ALV interface in the SAP GUI for HTML
Conversion affects the following transactions:
- COMAC - collective availability check
- CO05N - collective release
- CO04N - print
In addition, on the mass processing tab page, which is on the the selection screen for mass processing, you can define that an application toolbar appears in the object list. You can use this application toolbar to execute the mass processing functions directly, without using the menu.
