Internal Orders: Collective Processing

Description

Release 3.0 contains a collective processing function for internal orders. With this function you can process the master data for several orders online simultaneously or start functions for these orders in the background.

The orders to be processed are chosen using a selection variant. The selection variant can contain all the master data fields, classification characteristics, system and user statuses, and user-defined filters.

You can store the selected orders as an order group or process them directly from the list:

You can change order master fields directly in the list or call up the master record itself. All the functions of normal master data maintenance are available from the list.
You can perform functions (for example, status changes, substitutions) automatically either online or in the background for the orders selected.

Change system parameters in customizing

If you want to use collective processing for your internal orders, you must:

Define selection variants
The list variant determines which master data fields are displayed in which sequence in the different rows of the list.
Maintain list variants for collective processing
Maintain substitution rules for collective processing
