Dispatching and Deallocating Operations in Production Order Maintenance

Use

Dispatching and Deallocating Operations

In the production order, you can now dispatch specific operations without the planning board and without capacity leveling. For this purpose, the following functions are available in the operation overview and in the operation tab: Operation -> Dispatch and Operation -> Deallocate.

You can change operation dates when you dispatch an operation. Midpoint scheduling is then used to reschedule the order.

The advantage of using this function is the speed with which operations can be dispatched. This is because the system does not have to prepare the extensive data required for capacity leveling in the planning board.

The disadvantage of this function is that no warning is issued if you overload a capacity.

Deallocating Production Orders

You can also deallocate all operations in a production order without the planning board. The following function is available in the order header for this purpose: Functions -> Deallocate .
