Functional Area in the Production Order 

Use

The functional area field has been added to the assignment tab page in the order header. The functional area is cross-plant and is assigned to the order type.

The functional area is needed to generate a profit and loss account in Financial Accounting after cost of sales accounting. The functional area is a grouping criteria for a company from a functional point of view, for example:

• Manufacturing

• Administration

• Sales and Distribution

• Research and Development

You assign the functional area to the order type:
