Create Document Info Record

AutoCAD command: ASS_DOCCR

A document info record is created in the SAP system for an existing drawing or for a new drawing.

If the drawing is new, the Save as… dialog box appears. You can specify a name for the drawing here.

Next, the SAP function Create document is called up.

It is possible to use either internal or external number assignment.

If the Document number field is empty, the SAP system automatically assigns a number for the new document info record (internal number assignment). However, you can also enter a document number of your own (external number assignment).

The Original field contains the path of the CAD drawing.

Once the document info record is created, the SAP key fields are written to the drawing, and the drawing is saved.
