Defining Page Breaks for Lists

Use

You can use a line contained in the main block to define a page break for lists. You can specify the height of the list structure, and the insertion point (P1) for the new list structure after the page break.

Example

Load the drawing GENBPOS.DWG.

The "break check" is run before a new data record is inserted. If the insertion point of a new BOM data record is found to lie above point P2 (i.e. if the insertion point of the last BOM row is above P2), a page break is inserted. If the new data record is just slightly below the maximum height (P2), the sub-blocks are output anyway (i.e. the last data record is output over and beyond the maximum distance of the line-end point P2). To avoid this, you should set point P2 lower (by the height of one data record).

In our example, the page break is continued to the left of the list header.
