Archiving Settlement Documents

Description

The Release 3.0 upgrade for archiving also affects the archiving of settlement documents. See also the release info for the new Archiving concept.

In addition, when internal orders are archived, any existing settlement documents are now also archived.

Damage caused to data by errors

The new method assures a high level of data security because the archived data are not deleted out of the database until they are actually present in the archive.

Changes to the interface

The following changes have been made in the selection screen:

• You can archive settlement documents for certain objects. To do this, enter the object number of the sending object.

• The "minimum retention period" has been replaced with the "latest posting date". The function of this field is similar to the "date of last change" in the archiving of internal orders. A retention time for settlement documentns can be entered when maintaining the settlement profiles.
