System administration changes
The tools for client administration can be accessed via Tools -> Administration -> Administration -> Client admin.
The following tools are available as an online transaction (SCC0):
1. Client copy - Creating a new client in the same
system
Compared to the previous copy program RSCLICOP, many restrictions with regard
to the maximum data volume have been removed, so that production clients can
also be copied if sufficient resources (time and database) exist.
An ONLINE monitor which displays the progress of the client copy is
provided.
The previous copying tool, report RSCLICOP, is replaced by this transaction,
SCC0. In 3.0A, the call is internally supplied to the online transaction
SCC0.
2. Client transport between different systems
Test tools are available for the compatibility test between the systems.
It is possible to start the client copy between 2 systems by RFC.
3. Client copy - Special service for deleting Customizing
transports and clients
It is possible to delete a client completely with an online function.
4. Maintenance of the client attributes (extended client table)
5. Log analysis for previous client copy runs
