If errors occur during a test run or when you exercise a security right, they are displayed in a list.

The errors are grouped according to the following error types:

• Error when blocking the positions of the security affected
• Period-end closings missing
• Flows concluded after the key date
• Position indicators missing
• Payment details missing
• Error during general ledger update
• Other errors (for example, flow type missing when you generate flows, or authorization missing for this rights category/company code/securities account)

When position indicators or period-end closings are missing, you can use the details icon at the end of the error text to branch from the list to the screens for creating position indicators or performing period-end closings.

If errors occur during the general ledger update, you can use the details icon to branch to the posting log. If the error only occurs in the general ledger update, the posting log is displayed automatically.
