Replacing the Pump in the Supply Network 

Use

As the dismantled pump was a part of the industrial water network, it was linked to several other pumps. In this process step, you update the object links.

Procedure

  1. On the Change Equipment Object Network: Equipment Link List screen, select the following link: The replaced equipment is still included on this screen.

  2. To change the object link, choose Link.
  3. Enter the following data for link 1009:

  4. Choose .

    5. The Change Object Link: Equipment screen appears for the second link, 1010.

  5. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for link V-1010 (Europe) or L-3010 (North America).
  6. Enter the following data:

  7. Choose .
  8. To graphically display the object network, choose Extras ® Network -> Graphic ® Network.

    9. Enlarge the view. You can see that the defective pump has now been replaced.

  9. Choose until the overview tree appears.

Result

You have now replaced the defective pump in the industrial water network with a new pump.
