New Transaction: Customizing Organizer

Description

Release 3.0 includes a new transaction, the Customizing Organizer (SE10), which offers the functionality of the Workbench Organizer (transaction SE09) for Customizing requests.

All requests and tasks are assigned a new attribute, namely Category. Two categories are distinguished:

Customizing requests (change requests of category CUST) are used to enter client-specific Customizing settings from a client. A request / task of category CUST contains only client-specific Customizing objects of category CUST from exactly one client (the Source client).

Requests / tasks of category SYST contain SYST objects which are either SAP Repository objects or customizing objects for all clients. A request / task of the category SYST may also contain combinations of objects i.e. it may include CUST objects. However the client-specific objects have to originate from exactly one client (source client).

You can access the Customizing Organizer via:
Tools -> Release 3.0 -> Tools -> Transport

or from the Workbench Organizer via:
Goto -> Customiz. Organizer

The Customizing Organizer is accessed via a hierarchical list which displays all change requests of category CUST or SYST that can be used. The functionality of the Customizing Organizer corresponds to that of the Workbench Organizer. The only differences are with regard to Customizing requests:
