Holiday Pay for Great Britain and Ireland 
Use
SAP will provide an extended Advanced Holiday Pay solution for Great Britain and Ireland in a Support Package to be made available in the near future. While the original AHP functionality will still be available, the new solution, which will better meet customers' day-to-day requirements, will be the method recommended by SAP.
The extended AHP solution will feature two distinct improvements:
- Gap periods being handled by an adjustment run
- Less manual intervention due to a largely automatic AHP process (including automatic handling of absences in infotype 2001)
The new functionality will be described in greater detail in a Release Note (Extended Advanced Holiday Pay for Great Britain and Ireland ) provided in the appropriate Support Package. It will contain an exact description of how to use the new AHP functionality.
Further information is available in the Release 4.6C SAP Library (Payroll Great Britain and Payroll Ireland). The basic concepts of the new AHP process are described in the AHP section. Please note, however, that this documentation describes functionality which is not yet available but will be provided in a future Support Package.
