Define Profiles for Missing Parts Information System

In this menu option you can define profiles which determine the data to be displayed in the missing parts list and how it is displayed.

You can define the following parameters in a profile:

You can, for example, define the width of the columns, influence the grouping of the fields and determine whether the values are to be displayed as percentage rates.
You can specify via a subprofile which fields are displayed when you call up a missing parts list (Extras -> Fields ).
You can specify via a subprofile how the fields are sorted when you call up a missing parts list (Extras -> Sort criteria).
You can specify via a subprofile how the fields are grouped together when calling the missing parts list (Extras -> Grouping criteria).
Via a report variant, you can store selection conditions for material, plant, MRP controller and requirements date (Extras -> Set filters -> General filters).
Via a report variant, you can store selection conditions for fields from the reservation (Details -> Set filter -> User filters).
In addition, you can make the selection of a material dependent on the status of the respective reservation. This is done using a selection profile (Details -> Set filter -> User filters).
With this indicator, you can specify that only the last person to change the profile may also maintain the profile.
With this indicator, you determine that changes to the profile may only be carried out in the configuration menu of Production Activity Control.

Default Settings

The standard SAP R/3 System contains a standard profile for creating the missing parts list.

Recommendation

You should first use the standard SAP R/3 System. In this case, you do not need to carry out any actions.
