Entering G/L Account Line Items (General Ledger) 
Use
You enter G/L account line items after you have entered the document header. The bottom line of each screen contains the following fields for the line items:
You can suppress fields by selecting Environment
® User parameters ® Editing options in the General Ledger menu. For more information, see

The entries that you make in the bottom line of the line item entry screen determine which entries you can make in the next line item that you enter. This is shown in the following figure:

Prerequisites
When you enter a G/L account line item, the posting key and the G/L account determine which fields are displayed on which screen and which fields are required entry fields or suppressed fields. For more information, see
