Maintaining Scheduling Parameters and Saving Maintenance Plan 

Use

The scheduling parameters define when and for how long maintenance calls are created for the maintenance plan. They also determine when in the maintenance cycle maintenance call objects should be created.

Procedure

  1. Choose the Maintenance plan scheduling parameters tab page.
  2. Enter the following data:

    Call horizon

    90

    The call horizon determines that a maintenance order is created when 90% of the maintenance cycle has elapsed.

    Scheduling period

    365

    Maintenance dates are calculated for the entire year (365 days).

    Start of cycle

    Today’s date minus three months

    		  

    Because you have already entered the start date, the first maintenance appointment is already due and you can call it up immediately.

    4. Note the number of the maintenance plan.

  4. Choose to return to the overview tree.

Result

You have created maintenance calls (for a period of 365 days) for the maintenance plan. For a cycle lasting three months, a maintenance order is created after 90 days x 90% = 81 days.
