PM: Material allocation in a task list without a bill of material
Description
From Release 3.0, you can allocate materials to all types of of maintenance task lists , regardless of whether an object BOM (equipment BOM, functional location BOM, or assembly BOM in a general task list header) already exists.
Materials that are freely allocated in this way are recorded in a pool. They will not change any BOM that may exist for the object.
Change system parameters in customizing
Define a BOM usage for the standard BOMs that will be created by the system in the background when you allocate materials freely without reference to an object BOM.
These standard BOMs are not available in online transactions.
