Use
From Release 4.6C, this component, which was developed for IBU Utlilties, is available as an enhancement to the R/3 Core System.
You use
work clearance management if you have to isolate technical objects electrically during maintenance tasks or special tests, or decouple them mechanically from other system parts. You can thereby use this component to ensure safe working conditions for your employees, adhere to environmental regulations, and guarantee the reliability of your technical systems.
Work clearance management is an open system with different approval levels. The following functions are available:
- Requesting work clearance management
- Approving, scheduling and controlling work clearance management tasks
- Grouping orders for work clearance management tasks
- Printing work clearance management objects
- Tagging and untagging
- Performing tests
Effects on Existing Data
The functions for work clearance management are incorporated fully into the functions for structuring technical systems and order processing.
