Evaluating Appraisals 

Use

You can evaluate appraisals in Display mode or in Edit mode. If you are in Edit mode, you can go in and edit appraisals directly from the results list.

Procedure

  1. Choose one of the following menu paths:

    To evaluate appraisals in Edit mode:

    Choose Human resources ® Personnel management ® Personnel development ® Information system ® Appraisals.

    Choose Human resources ® Personnel management ® Personnel development ® Appraisal ® Edit.

    You can also evaluate appraisals in Display mode from the structural display for an organizational unit. You do this by selecting a person, and then choosing Navigation ® Reporting ® Appraisals. The person you selected is proposed as the appraisee.

    The Reporting Options for Appraisals screen appears.

  3. Enter the selection criteria you want.

You can combine each selection criterion with one or more of the other selection criteria. However, you must enter values for at least one of the fields in each of the columns below:

  • Appraisal model
  • Period appraised
  • Creation period
  • Appraiser
  • Appraisee
  • In preparation
  • In process
  • Completed
  • Approved
  • Rejected
  • Individual and overall appraisals
  • Subappraisals

You can select more than one object for the following fields:

If you specify selection criteria in both the Appraiser and Appraisee fields, you must select an operation.

If you have specified values for only one of these two fields, the operator has no effect.

How the operator affects the selection:

Appraiser A and Appraisee B

Appraiser A or Appraisee B

Selection:

  • All appraisals where A is the appraiser and where B is also the appraisee.

Selection:

  • All appraisals where A is the appraiser.
  • All appraisals where B is the appraisee.

If you also want to evaluate objects without appraisals, select the With no appraisal flag. For further information, refer to Evaluating Objects Without Appraisals.

  1. Choose Reporting ® Perform.

The Reporting Options for Appraisals screen appears. The appraisals you are looking for appear in a list.

The entry Several appraisers or Several appraisees means that more than one appraiser or appraisee was involved in the appraisal. You can display all appraisers and appraisees (and also the period appraised) by choosing View ® Additional data on.

To display the ID of the objects, and the object types, choose Settings ® Display variant ® Current…

Result

A list appears displaying all the appraisals that fulfill the selection criteria you specified.
