E2TPTRP - Existing Shipment
Definition
In segment E2TPTRP, shipment documents that have already been created in the R/3 system and which contain the current delivery are transferred. In certain circumstances, this can lead to improved connection planning to existing shipments in the transportation planning system. In addition, planning requests are documented, meaning that there is a record if the current delivery was sent to another planning system but is not yet included in the shipment document. Existing shipment documents are recognized by their assigned shipment numbers whereas this would still be blank for a planning request. For planning requests, this is set to the initial value (blank).
