Create
additional links for initial screen of travel manager
In this step you can create enterprise-specific
links to be displayed in the initial screen of the Travel manager
. Using these links you can provide the user with all kinds of
information, for example:
- Enterprise-internal travel
policies
- Internet links to travel/weather information
or news sites
- Mail addresses of contact persons
- Company logo and other graphics
Requirements
If you want to add graphics,
they must be stored in the Business Document
Navigator in the R/3 System. For the exact procedure, see:
Store graphics in Business Document Navigator.
Standard
Settings
In the standard system, different graphics are
stored in the Business Document Navigator for Travel
Management that are displayed randomly in the initial screen of
theTravel manager . These graphics are not stored in
the IMG activity Create additional links for initial screen of
travel manager .
The object keys of the graphics in the
Business Document Navigator begin with TRV.
If you store your own graphics in the activity
ZH> Create additional references for the initial screen of the travel
manager , the preset Travel Management Graphics are no longer
displayed.
Activities
1. Choose a
Trip provision variant
.
2. In the
Reference/Link type<//> field, choose whether you want to create
a reference, graphic or mail address as a link.
3. Assign a
sequential number for each link. If you store more than one reference and mail
address, they will be displayed according to the numbering in the initial
screen of the Travel manager . If you create more
than one graphic, they will be displayed randomly in the upper righthand
section of the initial screen.
4. In the
URL screen enter the address of the document for
which you want to create a link:
- Reference: File path
or web address
- Mail address: Normal
address of an Email recipient
- Graphic: Object key

URL text field enter the text that is to be
displayed for the relevant link in the interface. This field has no function
for graphics. It does not have to be filled, because no text appears in the
interface for graphics.
