FI-LC: Report Selection
Description
As of Release 3.0, hierarchical report selections are available for almost all SAP applications. You can find this function in the respective application menu as the first entry of the Information system, thus also for Consolidation under 'Info system -> Report selection. The report selection is designed like the information system and will replace it completely in a later release.
Report selection is used
- to centrally collect all reports of an application and
- to organize the reports hierarchically.
Under the term "Reports" we here understand
- ABAP reports (for which variants can also be defined),
- transactions,
- drilldown reports,
- report portfolios,
- Report Writer reports.
Change system parameters in customizing
When customizing the Report Selection, you determine
- which report tree is displayed under 'Info system -> Report selection' (by default, this is the tree FILC for consolidation),
- which reports are contained in this tree,
- whether the report selection is active.
