WM: Warehouse Controlling

Description

With Release 3.0, the Warehouse Management System has been integrated with the SAP Logistics Information System (LIS).

The goal of this first step was to easily and flexibly support the analysis of the physical flow of quantities in the warehouse.

The evaluations for Warehouse Controlling are integrated with the Inventory Controlling menu as standard analyses.

The data on which all five standard analyses for Warehouse Controlling are based form data that are updated to the information structures S090 and S091.

The following five standard analyses for Warehouse Management are available in Inventory Controlling:

The following table provides an overview of events that are updated by the information structures S090 and S091 once the update has been activated.

Event information structure
- Goods movements/Inventory Management S090
(external quantities)
Stock placements or removals
- Create transfer order S090
(Stock placements, removals, return transfers)
transferred quantity S091
- Confirm transfer order S091
(Confirm real and
unreal differences)

With the update, only physical movements are taken into consideration, that is, there are no inventory adjustment postings or posting changes.

Change system parameters in customizing

Activate the update of the two information structures S090 und S091 in Inventory Controlling. If the V1 update is selected, the document is posted with the original documents, if V2 is selected the update takes place at a later time. If you use multiple processing in Warehouse Management, then use only the V2 update.
