Export Control Class 

Definition

A unique code that identifies each material requiring an export license.

Each legal regulation includes a list of materials requiring export licenses and assigns an alphanumeric code to each of these materials. In R/3, these code numbers are called export control classes.

The table below lists some of the export control class number systems used by different countries.
