Order Information System
Description
In the order information system, you can choose objects (operations,
sequences, trigger points, confirmations etc.) from the production order and
display them in an object overview.
You can either enter the selection criteria on
the initial screen of the order information system or using an overall
profile.
You can restrict the selection of orders using
the following criteria:
You can also
- enter a selection profile, which chooses orders by their
status (system status or user status at header level).
- specify whether orders in which a deletion flag is active
should be taken into account during selection.
The following objects can be chosen from the
production order:
- (Individual) capacity requirements
- Confirmation (order header level, operation level, sub-operation
level)
The object overview displays the objects which
were chosen from the production orders. The relationship between the objects
(for example component allocation for an operation or confirmation for an
order header) is displayed in the list. You can adapt the list so that the the
information that is most important to you, comes first.
You can vary the object overview as
follows:
- Suppression of irrelevant orders
You have, for example, chosen all orders to
which a certain component is allocated. Two of these orders are of particular
interest. You can hide the remaining orders so you can concentrate on the
relevant orders.
- Suppressing of irrelevant objects
You have, for example, chosen all sequences
which contain operations with components. You are now only interested in the
operations. You therefore hide the object 'sequences'.
- Compressing chosen objects
You have, for example, chosen sub-operations,
and now only want to process the operations. You therefore compress the object
'sub-operations'.
- Display of certain fields/Change to field sequence
For example, you have chosen operations. You
either want to display the field 'confirmed time', or put it at the beginning
of the line rather than at the end. You change the displayed fields or the
sequence of the field display via the field selection for the object
'Operations'.
- Refreshing individual/all orders
If you have carried out business transactions
(releases, availability checks, confirmations etc.) for multiple orders, it
makes sense to refresh the entire list.
If, however, you have only processed a couple of
orders, it often makes more sense from a performance point of view, only to
refresh the orders that have changed in the list.
For every object which is read by the database,
you can either enter the following conditions manually or define more than one
simple profile.
- Fields which are displayed for the object
- Layout of the fields (for example, grouping or width of the field
columns)
- Selection profile, in order to make the display of an object dependent on
its status.
Further information on the order information system can be found in the
manual PP - Production orders.
