New Functions in Maintenance Planning

Use

The following new features are available in maintenance planning for costing, task lists, and scheduling:

You can calculate maintenance plan costs in three ways:
Logistics -> Plant Maintenance -> Planned Maintenance -> Maintenance Planning -> Maintenance Plans -> Maintenance Plan Costing
Customer Service -> Service Agreements -> Maintenance Planning -> Maintenance Plans -> Maintenance Plan Costing
You can select maintenance items in the list editing function using different criteria, for example, equipment or plant. Select desired maintenance items in the results list, and choose the function Cost estimate.
Up to now, you could only specify a scheduling period for time-based maintenance plans. The scheduling period allows you to display a preview of the maintenance dates in the queue (for example, for next year). As of Release 4.6C. you can also specify a scheduling period for performance-based maintenance plans. The system determines the scheduled dates on the basis of the estimated annual performance.
In addition to general task lists, you can now create equipment task lists and functional location task lists from the maintenance plan.
You can also branch directly to the task list change mode from the maintenance plan.
If you perform a restart or a start in the cycle during scheduling, you can then decide whether the system should skip or delete calls with the status "waiting". Up to now, all calls with this status were retained in the system.
You can set the status of a maintenance plan in scheduling to active or inactive . Previously, this function was only available if you changed a maintenance plan.
